Metal as a substance can be used indefinitely. The metal recycling industry is huge in Australia and we work to process both ferrous and non-ferrous metals into a state fit for recycling.

Our scrap metal collection and recycling service is built around your individual needs. We can provide regular scheduled collections or one-off collections in Moreton Bay at times to suit you and we have various sizes of skips available.
United Scrap Metal Traders offer a scrap metal collection service to domestic, commercial and construction customers. We are equipped and happy to service both small domestic projects and large-scale commercial undertakings.
United Scrap Metal Traders welcome trade, industrial and commercial customers as well as members of the public. Our yard is centrally located next to the Gateway Bridge.
Your safety is our concern so please wear closed in shoes and no children will be allowed on the work site. A safety vest and hard hat will be provided by USMT if necessary.
Your metal will be sent to a smelter or a furnace where it is subjected to extremely high temperatures to melt it down. Each grade of metal will go into its own smelter to prevent contamination between the metals.
Once melted, and in liquid form, the metals are moulded into billets ready for transportation or distribution. Your metal could be exported anywhere across the world to be re-used and made into a variety of products.
