ABN Required for Business Sales
If your demolition scrap is generated from business activity, you will need to provide a valid ABN when you sell to us. If no ABN is provided, we are required by law under Australian Taxation rules to withhold 48.5 percent of the total value of the transaction. Please have your ABN ready when you call or visit.
Photo ID Required
All transactions require a valid photo ID showing your name and address, such as a driver’s licence. This applies to all customers regardless of the size of the load.
Hazardous Materials
Please be aware that we are unable to accept materials that contain asbestos or other hazardous substances. If your demolition site contains asbestos or other regulated materials, these must be dealt with by a licensed contractor before scrap metal is brought to our depot or collected from site. If you have questions about what we can and cannot accept, give us a call before you make the trip.
