Important Information About Fridges and Air Conditioners
Before you bring in any refrigerator, freezer or air conditioning unit, please be aware that the gas must be removed from the appliance before we can accept it. This is not something we are able to do on your behalf at drop off. The de-gassing process must be carried out by a licensed technician before you make the trip to our depot.
If you bring in a fridge, freezer or air conditioner that has not been de-gassed, we will not be able to accept it. We recommend organising this in advance to save yourself an unnecessary trip. If you are not sure whether your appliance has been de-gassed or you need guidance on how to arrange it, give us a call and we will point you in the right direction.
What Condition Do They Need to Be In?
We accept white goods and appliances in all conditions. It does not matter whether your washing machine is rusty, broken, incomplete or has been sitting in the shed for years. As long as it contains metal, we are interested. You do not need to clean it up or repair it before you bring it in.
What Is My White Goods Worth?
The value of white goods and appliances as scrap depends on the type of appliance, its size, the metals it contains and current market conditions. Larger appliances with significant metal content such as washing machines, dryers and hot water systems will generally return more than smaller items.
The best way to get a clear idea of what your appliances are worth is to give us a call before you make the trip or simply bring them in and we will assess them on arrival. We will always give you a fair and honest price.

We accommodate utes, trailers and small trucks and no appointment is needed. Just turn up Monday to Saturday during business hours and we will take care of the rest.
