Identification Required
When selling scrap metal of a private nature, we require a valid photo ID showing your name and address, such as a driver’s licence. No ID means no purchase. This is a legal requirement and helps protect everyone in the industry.
Business Customers
Need an ABN
If your scrap is generated from business activity, you’ll need to provide your ABN. If no ABN is provided, we are required by law under Australian Taxation rules to withhold a portion of the total value.

Preparing Your Load
